Pretending a virtual ride is real might violate the Strava ToS, especially if you're doing it to qualify for challenges with prizes that require real riding (not that I've seen many since the beginning of the pandemic, virtual rides have been allowed for nearly every one) or go for real world KOMs. Not seeing any legitimate reason to do this; it's a bad look.
