All of my cans of WD-40 state the following on the can. I can't find where it states it's a lubricant. I'll keep looking and remove my post if I find it.

After a quick Google search, i found that WD40 has entire line of specialty products. Kind of like saying your bike is a Specialized and not mention the specific model.
