No worries. Sorry, sort of confused so please correct me if I'm wrong,
AFAIK you have the old FD cable still installed? You can remove that and will in fact, need to in order to remove the bb guide and thread the new cable in. Some chainstay routing is a bit of a ****job but will work with patience 99.999% of the time so you can go ahead and remove that too to remove the guide which will make rerouting the cables soooo much faster.

EDIT: just realised the first pic with the bb removed is not your bike. I was picturing the process with the bb removed so will be more difficult with the bb in. I suggest you remove the cranks to give you more wiggle room
