The inlets on the frame near the top tube don't have stops for the housing, and the underside where the cables exit is just an open port on the downtube. Hence, full-length housing.

Maybe we could help more if we knew which model bike you have with internal routing ports and apparently no housing stops. Perhaps the bike has stops at the ports and they broke? Anything is possible!
