Bikes: Bikes??? Thought this was social media?!?

Gary Fisher - couple pics 1990 & 92 catalogue

I know this is primarily a city/roadie vintage group. And I’m no mtn bike guy, but I do own a ‘91 Supercaliber. And many of the models back in the early days were not mtn bikes but also utility (an inclusive term) bikes and the Gemini tandem.

And Gary was a young road racer.

Found it interesting to note the 1990 catalog has no suspension shown on any bike. By 1992 the RS-1 = ‘Mert Lawwill patented rear suspension’ + Rock Shox II with magnesium blades. And Prometheus was rigid Ti frame 'optimized' for the same RS fork.

Wish I had the ‘91 info for models and options during this transitional period.

1990 pages 1&2 ^^^^

1992 was a large sheet folded - the rear suspension pic got an entire side.

1992 models (if legible)

Enjoy!

and celebrate!
