MIL has cancer and has been staying with us as she goes through chemo. Supposed to have her first vaccine shot last Friday, but the powers that be ran out the night before she was scheduled to receive it. Unsure of when we'll have another window given the weirdness around availability and planning it around chemo.
It kinda seems like the whole system is so broken at the moment that if you are able to get the vaccine you should go for it. Supply is so weird, in some areas not all vaccines are being distributed due to weird bottlenecks (NYC?), in others it seems like first come first serve (HV up where I am?)
