Road Test/Bike Review (1987) Buyers' Guide -- 3 ATB Models

Bicycling magazine's 1987 Buyers' Guide contains road tests/reviews of 9 featured bikes (3 Racing, 3 All-Terrain [ATB], 3 Touring) and a Table of Specifications for 189 bikes total.
In the Table of Specifications, Touring is divided into Sport Touring and Loaded Touring.
I'll post this in chunks over the next 2 days.
This post presents the featured three ATB models -- CYCLEPRO Skyline, ROSS Mt Hood, and SPECIALIZED HardRock.
