Cascades. That's looking southwest-ish from the top of Stimson hill. If the camera were rotated a little to the left, you could see Mt Pilchuck a couple rows of foothills away.

That spot sits above the mouth of the valley leading to Darrington, with Highway 530 and the North Fork Stillaguamish river. Here's a shot from the same overlook, with the camera turned much more to the left (east):



This is looking more or less toward Oso. Mountains Whitehorse and Three Fingers are prominent on the center-right.

If I took a photo between these two angles, Mt Pilchuck would be visible.
