The CXP22 is a high quality rim so there is no "danger" using it for a front wheel build. That said, while your rear wheel carries more of the load, the front wheel does the majority of the braking and all of the steering so a front wheel failure is more damaging that a rear wheel failure. If you are going to fit an inferior wheel, use it in back.
