Did the Rose Bowl Retro ride loop yesterday to find out what it's like. Plan to join it on one of these upcoming scheduled Sundays. Mostly level with the gradual climb from Arcadia to Sierra Madre.
The loop of Rose Bowl-So Pasadena-Huntington Dr.-Sierra Madre has been the basis of a significant part of my riding since I became a roadie in the late '90s. Most often, the loop gets extended east to Duarte, Azusa, or Glendora, but the finishing climb to a refreshment stop in Sierra Madre is tradition for riders in the area.
