I heard a little creaking, but creaks can also come from other places, like the rear skewer not being tightened enough on a rim brake frame. If I still had Campy cranks, I'd probably try the BB infinite solution. https://www.bbinfinite.com/products/...ant=9864643843

Now using Shimano cranks with my AXS drivetrain, the thread together BBs seem to be the perfect solution and less expensive than the BB infinite.
That's interesting. I ordered my CRS in October of 2016, when they started taking orders and didn't have any bikes for actual sale. I didn't get the bike until April of 2017. I had Hawk Racing BSA bearings on my ACE and really liked them so I ordered the Hawk BB86 for the CRS for when it came in. Three things I did to the CRS before riding it was swap the wheelset, swap the saddle and swap the BB. When I pulled the OEM Shimano BB, the sides of the BB shell had brass inserts in them. The reason I remember is because when I replaced the Hawk BB with the aluminum Wheels Mfg.BB, I had to borrow some dielectric grease from my electrician brother to keep the contact between the brass and aluminum from corroding. My CRS was built in the first run of that model and I'm wondering if Colango changed specs later in the year?
