I just bought a Univega Super Speciale frame from Tucson Craigslist, purported to be a 1981. I've yet to receive the frame, so all I have are the seller's pictures. My understanding is it was made by Miyata, and is the same frame as the Team Miyata. I have a question about a sticker on the bottom bracket shell:



I thought the "F" might have been something added by a dealer, but as I poked around the net looking for details about the model, I came across a picture of a Team Miyata bottom bracket shell with similar stickers:



Since they are on both a Miyata and a Univega, I imagine they originated in Miyata's factory, and weren't added by Ben Lawee's folks. Any idea what the "F" (and "A") stickers mean?
