powdercoating needs an electrostatic charge, so metal is all thats powdercoated as a general rule. Ive read that other materials such as plastic and carbon fiber can be powdercoated thru an extra step that creates an electrostatic charge. Whatever you coat needs to withstand 400ish degrees(pretty sure) when the powder is baked.
