I agree 100%, but these types of developments have become very popular with both builders and buyers. Toll Brothers is putting up 37 McMansions on a tract at the end of our street, and they sold out quickly.
I think developers like them because they can get more houses built per acre, and busy consumers want them because the HOA takes care of all the yardwork.
"Tool Brothers" is the worst, they build cheap crap using low wage workers. Who TF wants styrofoam exterior window ledges and trim?
