Bikes: 35 year old Reynolds531/Columbus SL bespoke bike and 16sp Brompton

What kind of ATF did you use to lubricate the Alfine hub?
I am thinking of using Ford Motorcraft Mercon ULV for my SA 8 speed hub since Mercon ULV should have low viscosity.
What do you think of that idea?
