Just took a short ride out yesterday to the local farm shop - the weather was not good with 40mph wind and a couple of hailstorms - as we needed cheese, and I had a newly finished bike to try out. The wind was from the south luckily, so I had the mother of all headwinds going out, and a glorious tailwind coming home.

The trip was a success overall; 2 pounds of local Cheddar and a wedge of Somerset Brie, and the bike was great apart from someone not tightening the seatpost clamp properly, generating a sinking feeling on the ride .
