Musk gets all the credit but Tom Mueller (his first engineer who recently retired) really should get more. He make engines as a hobby and as a job. His first day testing the first prototype SpaceX rocket, he fired it up at the test site. After the successful test, he told the testers, "We have this place for a day, lets fire it up again." The testers were shocked as that's never happened. Testing continued and ultimately showed the rockets could be reusable. Definitely worth a read if you can find more on him.
Hopefully this one sticks!
Musk is the visionary, he probably has loads of great engineers but without Musk nothing would have happened.
I love the guy.... maybe someday I will get to go to space because of him! I really wanted to be an astronaut...
