For most of that time he has refused to wear it, and since it’s only going balance bike speeds I haven’t really pressed the issue. So it’s not very used. It’s completely faded, without having been in the sun, all the plastic shell is cracked and the visor has broken off. The straps are just comically badly fitted. You get what you pay for.
