I'm somewhat handy with a wrench but working on cars is a pretty rare occurrence for me, so although it was a bit of a PITA at times generally I enjoyed myself. Helped that I could have the garage open and enjoy the nice sunny weather.
Disc brakes are a joy, relative to drum brakes. You could almost do it with your eyes closed. I did it once at a rest area in the rain. Quick.
