980s Peugeot Bike - $100 (Rancho Penasquitos)

per ad:
This was my Dad's bike, bought back in the early-to-mid 1980s.

Pretty sure the frame is aluminum. It's got down-frame shifters.

Size is roughly 27" I think. I'm 6'2" and the bike is reasonably comfortable for me (though it's been configured for racing so took a little getting used to the posture... I've made some adjustments since to make it less awkward, but you might want to lower the seat and raise the handlebars a little more).

The bike is not currently in working condition, but could be got there pretty easily. It needs a new chain, and the tires are flat (though they may just need to be pumped up, rather than replaced).

I've tried to find a good reference online for what a bike like this ought to cost, but Peugots from the same era are listed at everywhere from two hundred to several thousand dollars, so I'm making my best guess here. Make me an offer.
