The Cross New Hampshire Adventure Trail (XNHAT) ends, or begins, in Bethel, ME. It follows old railway beds across the state to Woodsville, NH. It has a website with pictures, maps, cue sheets, and updates, such as closed bridges.
Also, IIRC, there is something called the Bold Coast Greenway, or similar.
