Am I correct that the drive side bearing cannot be reached easily for lubrication or replacement? That you need the Shimano tools to push out the axle first?
It is possible to drive the cone out and replace it without the tools but you run the very great risk of unseating the shift spring and then you are in for a world of hurt.
