I went from 225 in Dec '19 to 185 in June '20 by riding and trimming intake. The goal was to trim 2000+ calories per week our of my diet, but I didn't get detailed about counting everything. I got halfway to the intake goal just by cutting out my daily after-work beer. The rest was just portion size control, especially with carbs. I was still able to eat all the things I enjoy, I just ate a little less of them, and never had craving issues. I've stagnated around 185 mostly because I relaxed a bit on the portion control. I'm slowly trying to get down to 180. My 2002-2004 race weight was 160-163. I have no interest in being that lean at this point in my life.
According to the BMI charts, at my height of just a hair under 6', 200 is still Overweight, and Healthy would be 185. I can't imagine me at 185. I'm aiming for 195, but if I don't get there I'll be cool with that. I think this is the least I've weighed this millennium.
