I assume the rims are the same for both wheels, just the hubs are different? If so, that's the case on every commuter I've ridden that has a dynohub on front (which is pretty much all of them). I generally try to match the skewers, but sometimes I use a security one for the dynohub and a regular one in the rear. Generally, if both are the same color, I'm good to go.
