Hi,
I am new to recumbents and am thinking about purchasing a Performer JC70. Since I haven't bought anything yet, I think I should take a step back and consider other Trike recommendations from you guys before I pull the trigger. I would like to be in the $2K range. What I liked about the JC70 is that it has multi speeds (3 sprockets up front), large rear tire, and the price is in my wheelhouse. What I don't like, 5 week lead time (ships from Taiwan). What scares me... the talk about 'shimmy' on this bike...

Are there other trikes in this price range I should be looking at?
