I have the TRP HY/RD mechanical-hydro brakes on my coupled Co-Motion single bike. I think they are the best of both worlds: hydro power and modulation, with mechanical ease of setup and the ability to still run cable splitters for easy disassembly and use with standard road levers. I definitely recommend them!
