That's what my wife wants as well. I just priced a Sprinter van conversion out of continuing curiosity. What was selling for about $100k a year ago is now $187k. Hard pass on something that expensive that would be used 3 or 4 times a year at most.
You can rent an RV and now there are private party rentals but they are not cheap. If I owned a nice RV I wouldn't want to rent it out.
