I have had on shop take more then 2 weeks to get a part.... mail order is quicker.
It's all about triage, I will not bring my bike back to a shop where I like the staff, because one of the guys put my out of true wheel on the stand, ( I already took of the tire and tube) and tells me it'll be 3 days when I said I was trying to get a ride in that day he's very nonchalant. I went to another shop 10 minutes away and was riding less then an hour later.
Unfortunatly my wife got a good deal on her Specialized there so we will go back to get the warrentied service.
