thanks! cranks are actually the Hussefelt OE ones that Jensonusa.com sells for i think 69 dollars. i know they're not the greatest, but for that price i think they are good. then the e.thirteen guide with a 1 X 8 set-up. i said in the other post above, if you're not racing XC, this seems like the way to go. i only use about the middle 6 and never really feel like i NEED more. something to consider...gets rid of those front derailleurs too. i think Gastro told me to do this. i do whatever he says to do. all of the regulars that have been here a long time helped me back in may when i joined. here is a thread with a few more pics:
