I am trying to refit a Sturney Archer wheel but the axle alignment on refitting means that the gear change chain (connected to the indicator bar) is coming out of the axle at around 90 degrees out from where it should be. It means it is will it wrap around to connect to the gear change cable. It was connected ok before I removed the wheel to fix a puncture, but I am not sure what I have down to cause it to be misaligned.
