The SA advice is to install the wheel, setting the drive chain's tension (actually it's lack of tension but that's another thread). Then the indicator chain is fully threaded in and backed off only enough to be aligned with the cable routing. So the indicator might be as much as just less then a half turn from full "tightness". SA never intended the indicator to have to be fully threaded. Andy
