I'm heavyweight and a little extra weight on a bike don't matter to me, as I'd need to lose 50 lbs of bodyweight to be anywhere near performance rider weight. If anyone has a name or a link to somewhat deep aluminum clincher rims, would be appreciated.
i have a set of wheels built with kinlin alloy rims (kinlin.com.tw). They aren’t 50mm deep, more like 30mm. The nice thing about kinlin is they build asymmetric rims so you can have longer (stronger) drive side spokes. Checkout bikehubstore.com kinlinxr31t or contact a reputable builder. I use mine for commuting and they’ve been bullet proof for several years. Good luck!
