Battaglin: Don't non-drive side photos suck? Seriously though, this is a decent frame, as it uses a derailleur hanger. It's got the super light Modolo resin shift levers and the crankset with the double flutes is likely a Gipiemme, as Battaglin's pro team was supplied by Gipiemme in the mid-1980s. As a result, Battaglin tended to spec Gipiemme on their production models. The big question mark are the derailleurs, specifically the front derailleur mount. The early Gipiemme were basically rebadged Simplex and used the bottle style braze-on for the front derailleur mount. Due to this compatibility issue, the early Battaglin framesets came with the front derailleur. I'm wondering if this is a circa 1985 Battaglin Triathlon, as they used a Gipemme Azzurro drivetrain and came with the Modolo shift levers.
