I bought the Extra Long set because I was afraid of them being to short, now they are to long. I have them on the shortest setting and they are a little loose. I have a size 11 shoe. I have seen other posts were others had a problem with them being shorter than expected so I bought the longer set, I guess it is easier to shorten than lengthen them.
I really like them so far, easy to get in and out of. Easy to install. Better than toe clips. If you don't want the expense or hassle of special shoes and pedals I recommend giving them a try.
