Hah! Did you have some role in that bike getting to me?! Sad saddle story is that the one in the pic above, original to this 1949 Raleigh Clubman, snapped at the nose during a benefit ride the first month or so that I had it (and it was just a couple of miles into that ride; did another 50 or so on the broken saddle). But a year or so later, I ended up with a 1950 Clubman, and swapped its saddle to the ‘49. That’s the one in my pic.
