I should have weighed the '88 Cannondale Criterium before I built it. The feel of classic aluminum was mind-blowing to me at the time a few years back. It still feels incredibly light and with that Sakae Fx aluminum fork it is rocking the fog line.
My '85 Cannondale SR frame weighed in at about 1899 g/4.19 lbs; that's with headset cups + BB fixed cup still on at that point. Its Tange chromoly fork was 765/1.69, with the crown race on.
I love it too; I stripped & refinished it and I'm riding it without paint. I really enjoy looking at the metal.
