Thanks for the offer. I'm at least a couple weeks away from getting enough shop time to actually dig into this bike. I have a 28 flat ring to try first and then I'll have a better idea. I snuck out to the shop last night to confirm the bolt threading after reading what you said about SR using custom hardware, and noting that there are $25-30 packs of special SR triple bolts on ebay.
