Not C&V or even much of a great undertaking... But about seven months ago I bought a Blendr Duo base for my Trek. While my stem is Blendr compatible, it apparently isn't compatible with this particular base. Having this that and the other thing to do I never got around to returning it. And while my stem didn't fit the base, it fit me so it didn't make sense to buy another stem. This morning while drinking coffee, it struck me to take a Nicholson mill after the base and make it fit.
While the aerodynamic improvement will only get my 56 year old self a .00001 mph improvement I think it looks so much better I may be moved to cutting down my steerer tube for maximum warm and fuzzies.
