Bikes: (2) ti TiCycles, 2007 w/ triple and 2011 fixed, 1979 Peter Mooney, ~1983 Trek 420 now fixed and ~1973 Raleigh Carlton Competition gravel grinder

I'd run an Izumi Eco chain simply because they are very good. Doesn't hurt that they don't break the bank. The bike doesn't care that it is Japanese and not a major name. They make several colors. No difference at all except a few bucks. The bike of my logo has seen black and silver (and no other brand in 20,000 miles. The Peter Mooney of my username has a gold chain. My commuter - black.

My logo bike is the only one with a track crankset (Sugino 75). It runs Campy of Sugino track rings. The rest are 110 BCD and various brands of rings. All are 1/8 rings and cogs. All cogs are Euro-Asian (well there's one Dura-Ace, a 23t Surley and a 24t English cog).

If you go to a velodrome, you will see the Izumi Eco chains represented well, simply because they work as well and are as reliable as chains far more expensive.
