Heya

After reading a lot of content from this forum since lockdown I decided to go for a project

I got super cheap from ebay this Liv avail 2 (2018) but without handlebars and stem (all others components from the bike remains the same like original
the seller explain to me they were stolen in some night out and after that she upgraded to a whole new bike

So I got this bargain for my second bike, I commute to work in a hybrid I did fit an ebike kit (quite happy)

after grab this bike I dropped in the LBS of the area and this lovely mechanic spared an used stem and flat handlebar for 10£
I was actually thinking to fit flat or riser bars because I don't do well with drops in general
I would like to try for a time the bargain I got for stem and handlebar

Super happy about that I came back home and I started to see for shifters 2x8 to match the shimano claris
By my understanding If I look for any shimano 2x8 compatibility and putt ratio is not an issue

I found some SHIMANO SORA ST-R221 EZ-FIRE SHIFTER on ebay for 25£ but I wonder if this is the best I can get for the budget without going crazy
I also found some microshift and I read about how cheap they are compare with shimano, but people saying how weird they fell (I never used them)
So far I spent 100£ on this and I think I will allow some other 80£ ish for integrated shifters, cables and fenders maybe

Any insights and recommendations it will be deeply appreciated
