If you go and buy a brand new freewheel, it will still have a similar wobble. Maybe more, maybe less, but it will be there.

This is found on most vintage bikes, from low quality, right up to the top of the line. It is most noticeable when coasting, and really doesn't hurt anything.

It is less noticeable with the new design of freehub/cassettes for various reasons.
