I'll second what Andy, Clifford and others have said. Just ride it. If you never saw this, you could have simply ridden this bike, freewheel and hub until they dies of natural causes and never known they had an "issue". I make it a point of not looking simply so I don't know. It's never been a problem, ever. Freewheels die when the cogs no longer work with chains or the bearings/pawls get dirty or dry.
