I want to assemble road bike that has IS mounts. I was going to buy a 105 or Ultegra group-set. But when i picked up the frame from a LBS he told Shimano road only comes in flat mount, and there is no adapter to IS. Any other solutions? Could I use a mountain bike style brake like the SLX M7000 calipers?


I've been online for hours reading about bike part compatibility. My brain hurts.
