I remember speaking with a ranger at the fire outlook on the slope of Mt Palomar (awesome view), that it really needs to get into October before it's cool enough to be consistently clear, all the time. I do agree that the "June Gloom" seems to have been persisting slightly longer than usual.
I felt halfway decent on my commute to work this morning in light of having more to drink and more TSS than usual over the weekend. On paper it's a rest week too. Still, I'm gonna do track tonight just to participate. Who knows, if my legs feel decent on the way home and/or if some select riders don't show up, I might do well. It's endurance night, so just one long points and one long scratch race in the A's.
