Now I remember how the Sintesi clips were different from the Christophe CXC clips. The top strap loop is anchored to the rest of the clip with a small set of nuts and bolts, instead of permanent rivets, as seen on the Christophe clips. I did not quite remeber, as my Sintesi pedals are deep in my stash. I just remember that the connection for the strap loop was more fiddly than the one on the Christophe CXC clip, and I always thought that it might not be a good idea, as the nut and bolt connection can loosen when the pedal is being used.You can see it on this pic.....
