FSA disc hose Pin and Olives the same as anyone elses?
Just installed a new set of FSA afterburner hydraulic brakes on my daughter's new/used MTB, which came with a generic length that is supposed to fit most bikes. The front was passable if you're lazy, the rear brake hose is absurdly long. I'm only finding one source of FSA specific olives and barbs, which is the same place I bought the brakes. They look similar to the nicer shimano ones but I can find nothing to verify dimensions or cross compatibility. Similarly, will a shimano bleed kit work with these or do they have their own specific dimensions? Would have thought I'd find more info on them surfing the net but there's not a lot of info. They feel good once installed and the reviews from 6 years ago seemed positive but they don't seem to have been popular.
