You were coasting in a rest interval, so no biggie. Did they say "hi" or even "on your left/right?" Being a tri person yourself, you know they were probably in the zone. I wouldn't worry about unless you knew them. If they were from a rival tri club, I would inform the rest of your gang/crew/club. Set up a war council and decide a course of action.
Oh, I know who they are - they're the Austin Tri Club and they're out there every Tuesday and Thursday morning. They've invited me to ride with but I'm with another club (out of the same shop) and prefer to get my rides in solitude. I even donate some of my older equipment to their rookies though.
Did have a roadie blow my doors off this morning. It was a recovery ride, but it wouldn't have mattered - he would have gotten me anyway. Roadie though, with lycra and drop bars.
