Just fold an old pillow. There are also other ways to get the same effect with various positioning which i won't get into here. Mostly I think the liberator is good for lazy older people who may not have the strength or flexibility to get into certain positions. Then again we all are lazy sometimes - in which case a pillow folded in half gets the job done fine.
