I learned that it is really nice to have a headlamp that slides off the mount so you can see what your doing. Here's a good one....the access road to the Dumbarton? I actually saw a Lincoln town car sail through the fence (on its roof, no less) into the drink about 200yds ahead of me one sat afternoon....(accross from KGO towers) I always wondered how people did that.
i have yet to be bothered for being on the muts - but i was stopped for have headphones in both ears by a cranky park ranger just as i was getting on the bridge access road...i had also blown the stop sign pretty good so after a quick tongue lashing and a few yes sirs i was on my way.
I need to get another headlight...my last one was stolen out of my trucks console. The nights are getting longer so I will soon be able to commute fully both ways instead of taking Amtrak to Fremont on the way back.
cheers!
