Bike is old so I was hoping not to replace other parts.

I did a bit of research and it appears that the megaexo bb is indeed compatible with Hollowtech II cranks. However, if you need to replace your bottom bracket in future you would probably be better off simply buying the Shimano bottom bracket that would normally be used with your newer crank
